  • Zoom web conferencing platform for live virtual instruction and meeting rooms for students.
  • Microsoft suite (M365) of industry standard productivity tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Powerful statistical tools (SPSS) to analyze data and solve complex real world problems.
  • Technical computing software (Mathematica) used to build neural networks, machine learning, image processing, data science and visualizations.
  • Data acquisition software (Labview) for controlling technical instruments, acquiring data, and automating data collection as used in research/science/engineering facilities across the globe.
  • Print anywhere print services (PacificPrint) that allows students to use copiers and printers across the three campuses to print assignments, posters, and more on demand.
  • LinkedIn Learning for on demand training for a variety of technical and non-technical subjects.

The University provides students with Internship opportunities with a number of companies in the Northern California region and internally to Pacific. These internships provide an initial foundation towards future career success for students once they graduate from Pacific.

Previous interns of Pacific Technology have worked with experienced IT professionals in the areas of Technology Architecture, IT Security, Project Management, Classroom Technology, Networking, Server Administration, Help Desk, and Computer Programming. Some Interns have been hired to work within Pacific Technology after graduation. Many have been hired right out of college with the experience gained from working in a professional IT operation.

Pacific Technology employs highly trained and nationally certified security professions to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of data required for students to progress their studies here at Pacific and protect the university’s information assets. We also provide cybersecurity training and awareness which gives students, faculty and staff the information needed to protect themselves on the internet.
